Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson, born on 24 July 1975 was an American former professional wrestler. Her most notable accomplishments are in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) which was previously known as the World Wrestling Federation. In 1999, Wilson won Miss Galaxy. [1][8] Shortly after she was signed by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and remained there from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, her appearances on World Wrestling Federation television were part of The Invasion (a WCW storyline, which was then called the WWF). The most memorable storylines were in 2002, when she fought Dawn Marie. [5][9] Then in 2003 she was paired with Sable. Wilson has also been member of the all-female stable (i.e. an ensemble of characters who are storyline-related) which was referred to as Vince's Devils and was canceled in 2006.Aside from wrestling prowess, Wilson has been on the cover of several magazines which include FHM as well as Playboy (which Wilson posed for twice, including Wilson and Sable).Wilson was admitted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. The first time Wilson wrestled came when she attended an World Championship Wrestling (WCW) show with her boyfriend , in 1999. In the following year, she was invited backstage to enter the ring with Scott Steiner. Then, Kevin Nash expressed an interest in the storyline along with her. The first time she appeared was in the episode Nitro, February 8, 1999 (later changed her name to "Samantha") In the episode's storyline, that Wilson was snatched by the New World Order (nWo) to deceive David Flair into turning against his father, Ric Flair. [5][14] The two appeared together at SuperBrawl IX on February 21st and Wilson beat Ric as David hit him with a Taser. [15] Ric won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He was filming by Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage. David and Wilson were then absent from WCW television until May. They returned to the Ring in May to watch matches. At the 1999 Bash at the Beach, Wilson was an assistant for Flair while he successfully defended the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko.
